Health Requirements for entry to Paraguay

All Foreign citizens and Paraguayan nationals traveling from the African Continent must submit the following documentation for entry to Paraguay at the Embassy of Paraguay in Egypt.

1. Medical certificate certifying that the applicant is not suffering from any contagious or infectious disease
The certificate must state that the applicant is not suffering from any infectious disease that could have serious impact on public health, in accordance with the provisions of the International Health Regulations. This certificate must be attached to the laboratory studies proving the absence of infectious disease (Hemogram, HIV, VDRL, Inmunofluorescenia for Chagas, Thick blood for Malaria, Hepatitis Antigen). Perform the studies cited above in a state health service and present it in the medical consultation to issue the certificate.
Repeat analysis of Thick blood for Malaria within 48 hours of arriving in Paraguay, in the national reference laboratory SENEPA (Manuel Dominguez c / Brazil from 07:00hs to 12:00hs)

2. Epidemiological survey of risk
Fill epidemiological survey including exposure information or contact with people suffering from infectious disease, animals or vectors that can transmit disease.
The survey is available at the Embassy.

Vaccination certificate
1- Possess International Certificate of vaccination against yellow fever, as mandatory.
2- Recommended possess, a certificate of vaccination against polio, measles and diphtheria.

*People traveling to Paraguay from the African continent, must submit the Epidemiological of risk factors survey.

وذلك بسبب ظهور على عدة مواقع لمعلومات مضللة حول إمكانية الحصول على الجنسية الباراجوانيةوجواز سفر ثان، وكذلك كيفية الحصول بسرعة وسهولة على جنسية ثانية، ولذا كان واجبا على السفارة التنيه على القانون الحالي في باراجواي المنظم لعملية الهجرة اليها:

لا تقدم جمهورية باراغواي المواطنة ولا جواز سفر باراجواي مباشرة.
يجب أن تبدأ في تقديم طلبات تأشيرة إقامة في السفارات والقنصليات الباراجوانية في الخارج.
سيتم رفض جميع طلبات تاشيرات السياحية أو التجارية التي لديها نوايا حقيقية في وقت لاحق لتقديم طلب تأشيرة الإقامة من خلال أطراف ثالثة تلقائيا.
يجب على المتقدمين لطلب تأشيرة الإقامة مقابلة مع رئيس القسم القنصلي والسفر إلى القاهرة – مصر لمقابلة شخصية في السفارة. تسليم جميع المستندات الأصلية المطلوبة، وكذلك في شكل رقمي وعرض السبب الأساسي لطلب الإقامة فى الباراجواي.
الأجانب يجب ان يكون لديهم عقد لمكن اقامة لمدة ثلاث سنوات على الأقل مع عنوان دائم في الباراجواي لذا يكون لهو الحق فى طلب المواطنة الباراجوانية (التجنيس وجواز السفر) ولكن يجب التخلي عن جنسيتهم الحالية.
جمهورية باراغواي فقط تقبل وتعترف بالجنسية المزدوجة مع مملكة إسبانيا وجمهورية كولومبيا.

فيش وتشبيه مترجم الى اللغه الاسبانيه وموثق من وزارة الخارجية. 11- ملئ الاستمارة (Application) شخصيا بمقر السفارة.
صوره من الاقامة الدائمة فى مصر والبطاقة الشخصية (خاص بالاجانب).
شهادة صحية من مستشفى عام تنص على ان طالب الفيزا خالى من الامراض العضوية والنفسية موثقة من وزارة الصحة ووزارة الخارجية و مترجمة الى اللغه الاسبانيه. 14- شهادة تحركات من الانتربول من بلد المنشاء خلال الخمس سنوات السابقه للتقدم للحصول على الفيزا موثق من وزارة الخارجية المصرية .
شهاده من جهة العمل او السجل التجارى لاصحاب الاعمال .
خطاب الدعوة المرسل من باراجواى( عائلى ,من صديق او شركة ) موثقه و مرفق طية صورة من البطاقة الشخصية بالنسبة للداعى.
خطاب رسمى من الشخص او الشركة موضحا بة سبب الزيارة فى حالة الزيارة الرسمية او رحلة عمل .
فى حالة الاطفال القصر الابلاكيشن لابد ان يوقع من قبل الاب والام مع احضار شهادة ميلاد الابن . اما فى حالة سفر الابن منفردا او مع احد الاباء او احد الاقارب لابد من احضار مايثبت موافقت جميع الاطراف على ذلك من الجهات المختصة موثقا مع احضار صورة من البطاقات الشخصية للاباء . عند استكمال المستندات المذكورة تقوم السفارة بطلب الاذن من السلطات المختصة فى وزارة الخارجية بالبارجواى وذلك فى حد ادنى ثلاث اسابيع و يتم دفع الرسوم الاتيه: – 65 دولار امريكى كرسوم لتأشيرة الدخول مرة واحدة. – 100 دولار امريكى كرسوم لتأشيرة متعددت الدخول.

Due to the appearance on several websites misleading information about the possibility of obtaining the Paraguayan citizenship and a second passport, as well as how quickly and easy are the methods to obtain a second nationality, this is why this diplomatic mission must inform about the current law in Paraguay on immigration:

All applications for Tourist or Business Visas that have the real intentions later on to apply for Residence Visa through third parties will be automatically rejected.
The Republic of Paraguay does NOT offer citizenship nor Paraguayan passport directly.
The processing of requests for Resident Visa must be initiated in Paraguayan embassies and consulates abroad.
The Republic of Paraguay only accept and recognize dual nationality with the Kingdom of Spain.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR TOURIST VISA

Passport valid for at least two (2) years at the application time.
Presentation of expired passports or complete copies of them.
Photocopy of the Visas issued in other countries contained in the applicant’s passport.
Photocopy of the National ID and translation of it into Spanish.
Original Birth Certificate duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin and translated into Spanish.
Two recent passport-size photo (5×5), white background.
Bank Certificate translated into Spanish.
Bank Accounts and Credit Cards Statements of the least three years before the application time translated into Spanish.
Roundtrip airfare (reservation and confirmation).
Hotel booking confirmation in Paraguay.
Original Certificate of Police Records issued in the country of origin duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin and translated into Spanish. Are exempted from this requirement applicants under fourteen (14) years.
Original Certificate of INTERPOL, issued in the country of residence for the last five (5) years, duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence and translated into Spanish. Are exempted from this requirement under fourteen (14) years.
Complete and sign personally the Visa Application Form.
Photocopy of Migration ID and Residence Visa of the country of current residence, translate into Spanish.
Original Medical Certificate issued by a general medical doctor from a state hospital stating that the applicant is in good physical and mental conditions, free of contagious disease legalized by the Ministry of Health and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of current residence translated into Spanish.
HR Letter issued by the employer or documents certifying ownership of business, translated into Spanish.
Invitation letter of a relatives or friend who is settle in Paraguay, made by a Public Notary and accompanied by the Paraguayan ID duly authenticated.
In the case of minors, the Visa Application Form must be signed by both parents, accompanied by legalized birth certificate of the child. If the child is traveling alone, with just one parent or a third party, an authorization must be signed before a Public Notary, along with a photocopy of the ID cards of both parents.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The process time for Tourist Visa would take minimum three weeks.
If the applicant resides outside Egypt, must request an interview with the Head of the Consular Section and have to travel to Cairo – Egypt for a personal interview at the embassy; deliver all required original documents and also in digital format which must be saved on JPG extension and should not exceed 1MB.
Once the Tourist Visa is approved, the applicant must return personally again to Cairo to withdraw its visa.
All Spanish translations must be performed by a translation company or legal translator recognized in the country of residence.

CONSULAR FEES:

Single visa = US$ 65.-

Multiple entry visa = US$ 100.-

خطاب رسمى من الشخص او الشركة موضحا بة سبب الزيارة فى حالة الزيارة الرسمية او رحلة عمل .
صورة ضوئية من التاشيرات التى حصل عليها من قبل لدى الدول الاخرى .
المستندات المطلوبة من الباراجواى :-

صورة موثقة من البطاقة الشخصية للموقع على الدعوة .
صورة موثقة من الاوراق الدالة على وجود شريك بالباراجواى .
صورة موثقة من (RUC).
شهادة ضربية .
صورة من ايصالات دفع الضرائب المستحقة لاخر ستة اشهر .
صورة من (IPS) المسددة من قبل الشركة .
صورة من فاتورة الكهرباء للشركة صاحبة الدعوة.
إذا كان مقدم الطلب فني أو ممثل لشركة سوف تقدم خدمات أو عقد لقاءات مع نظرائهم في داخل البلاد، يجب على الشركة المضيفة تقديم شهادة تفيد طبيعة الزيارة مترجمة إلى اللغة الإسبانية.
مدة الانتظار تتراوح ثلاثة اشهر .
فى حالة اذا كان مقدم الطلب غير موجود بمصر فعلية ارسال جميع الاوراق المطلوبة عن طريق الايميل الخاص بالسفارة ( يقوم مقدم الطلب باخذ الاوراق المطلوبة اسكان بصيغة JPG بحيث لا يتعدى حجم الورقة 1 ميجا ) وعندما يتم الرد بالايجاب على الفيز يقوم مقدم الطلب بالسفر الى مقر السفارة شخصيا للحصول عليها.
كل الاورق المطلوب ترجمتها للاسبانية يتم ترجمتها من خلال احد مكاتب الترجمة الموثقة لدى السفارة والموضحة بالويب الخاص بالسفارة .
مصروفات الفيزا
فيزا دخول مرة واحدة (65 دولار).
فيزا متعددة الدخول (100 دولار).

Business Visa

Passport valid for at least six (6) months at the application time.
Photocopy of the Visas issued in other countries contained in the applicant’s passport.
Photocopy of the National ID card & the Birth Certificate.
Two recent passport-size photo (5×5), white background.
Certificate or proof of good financial standing, as a Bank Statement issued at least one year before the application time translated into Spanish or English.
Certificate of Police Record in the country of origin and/or INTERPOL, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence and translated into Spanish.
Roundtrip airfare (reservation and confirmation).
Hotel booking confirmation in Paraguay.
Complete and sign personally the Visa Application Form at the Embassy of Paraguay in Egypt.
Photocopy of passport with visa or entry stamp to the country, for non-resident aliens.
Job certificate issued by the employer or documents certifying ownership of business translated into Spanish.
Submit an invitation letter addressed to the Director of Passports and Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay (photocopy of the stamp received from the Passport Department must be attached) and another to the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Paraguay in Egypt, with the terms of the model that can be downloaded from this website.
Documents required from Paraguay

a. Authenticated copy of the ID the signer of the note.

b. Authenticated copy of the Memorandum of Association of the Company.

c. Authenticated copy of the RUC.

d. Certified copy of the Certificate of Tax Compliance.

e. Copies of receipts for tax paid in the last six months by the Company inviting.

f. Copying of the IPS Invoice Payment of the Company employees.

g. Copy of the Bill of Electricity of the inviting company.

h. If the applicant is technician or representative of a company that provide services or hold meetings with their counterparts in the country, the company must file the Job Certificate by the inviting Company where it serves the foreign guest, translated into Spanish.

The approximated waiting time for issuing such a visa take about three weeks.

If the applicant resides outside Egypt, it must submit all required documents by email, in JPG format and each file should not exceed 1MB. When the visa is approved, the applicant must travel to Egypt to withdraw his visa.

All the Spanish language translations must be done by a legally certified translation company or translator.

تاشيرة الاقامة المؤقتة

وتمنح للرعايا الأجانب الذين يرغبون في البقاء في البلاد ومقيمين مؤقتين. وتمنح لمدة عام بموجب القانون 978/96 قابلة للتجديد لفترات متساوية لمدة أقصاها ستة (6) سنوات. من خلال اتفاق ميركوسور، وفترة إقامة مؤقتة لمدة عامين قابلة للتجديد لمدة عامين آخرين.

وتمنح للمواطنين الأجانب الراغبين في الاستقرار في البلد، كمقيمين دائمين، من أجل انشاء نشاط مفيد للتنمية في البلاد.

فى حالة الاطفال القصر الابلاكيشن لابد ان يوقع من قبل الاب والام مع احضار شهادة ميلاد الابن . اما فى حالة سفر الابن منفردا او مع احد الاباء او احد الاقارب لابد من احضار مايثبت موافقت جميع الاطراف على ذلك من الجهات المختصة موثقا مع احضار صورة من البطاقات الشخصية للاباء .
معلومات اضافية

ان عملية الحصول على تاشيرات الإقامة تأخذ ما يقرب من ثلاثة أشهر.
إذا كان طالب التاشيرة من خارج مصر، لابد من طلب مقابلة مع رئيس القسم القنصلي ويضطرون للسفر إلى القاهرة – مصر لمقابلة شخصية في السفارة.
تقديم جميع الوثائق الأصلية المطلوبة، وكذلك في شكل رقمي التي يجب حفظها على JPG وينبغي ألا يتجاوز حجم الورقة واحدMB
.وبمجرد الموافقة على تأشيرة الإقامة، يجب على مقدم الطلب شخصيا ان يعود مرة أخرى إلى القاهرة للحصول على التاشيرة
يجب أن تكون كل الترجمات الاسبانية من قبل شركة الترجمة من قبل المكاتب المعترف بها في بلد الإقامة.

Residence Visa

The Republic of Paraguay does NOT offer citizenship nor Paraguayan passport directly.

Foreigners holding Paraguayan Residence for at least three years with permanent address in Paraguay may request Paraguayan citizenship (naturalization and passport) but they must renounce their current nationality.
The Republic of Paraguay only accept and recognize dual nationality with the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Colombia.

CATEGORIES OF VISAS

– Business

– Temporary Residence

It is granted to foreign nationals who wish to remain in the country as temporary residents. The duration of this filing by Law 978/96 is up to one year and may be renewed for equal periods authorized up to a maximum of six (6) years. By Mercosur Agreement, the period of temporary residence is two years, renewable for another two years.

– Permanent Residence

It is granted to foreign citizens wishing to settle in the country as permanent residents, in order to occupy a useful activity for the country’s development.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR RESIDENCE VISA

Passport valid for at least two (2) years at the application time.
Presentation of expired passports or complete copies of them.
Photocopy of the Visas issued in other countries contained in the applicant’s passport.
Original National ID and translation of it into Spanish. (will be return after verification)
Original Birth Certificate duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin and translated into Spanish.

Bank Certificate translated into Spanish.
Bank Accounts and Credit Cards Statements of the least three years before the application time translated into Spanish.

Professional degree or Certificate stating the activity or occupation that will be developed in Paraguay, duly authenticated.
Certificate of Marriage or Divorce Sentence duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence and translated into Spanish.
In the case of minors, the Visa Application Form must be signed by both parents, accompanied by legalized birth certificate of the child. If the child is traveling alone, with just one parent or a third party, an authorization must be signed before a Public Notary, along with a photocopy of the ID cards of both parents.
